The Girls MS Soccer team played great on their game against Winfield Park. Although it wasn't a winning game, it was most definitely a learning experience for the team. A lot of wonderful passes and tricks on the field but shooting was mostly the weakest point throughout the game. Remember you miss 100% of the chances you don't take!
Highlights:
Sydney Rose '20 showed her defensive side today as well as Kallie Schildge '20 being small but fierce! Both Lauren Kisare '18 and Samantha Anastasiou '17, did terrific out in the field and goal! Mia Reyes '18 was doing great leading the team out there in the field.
Overall great job Rams!! We'll get 'em again next time!
Sam and Mia the two captains
L.K. in goal. Nice save!
Yay! No bunching!!
Coach lecturing the team on the game
Destiny and one her close chances on goal
Sam punting the ball
Love the hop Mia
Julia taking the goal kick
We just need to work on our work rate, first touch, looking at where the space is, getting in front of the players, and positioning.....
ReplyDeleteNice form Sam!!!!!!! <3
nice play.
ReplyDeleteI was not at this game but i know that as a team we are capable of winning to Winfield Park. We need to work on passing, keeping position, and not clumping. Nice save L.K.!!! I like the hop Mia!! Keep it up Rams!!
ReplyDeleteI stayed for most of the game and from taking the pictures, a lot of bunching because of no communication! Otherwise good game!
ReplyDeleteAll we need to work on is positions, not bunching, and finding where there's space. Otherwise, we did pretty well.
ReplyDeletela la la i wish we did better like better passing and keeping our position
ReplyDeleteWell, I think you played decent. But they were issues that we need to work on. First of all, WE HAVE GOT TO STOP BUNCHING!!!! We need to communicate and not fight eachother for the ball. Remember, we are on the same team, so we should hold our positions and stop crowding eachother. Also, if you have a shot on goal, take it. Do not hesitate. If you try to dribble closer to the goal or into a defender, you risk the chance of losing the ball to your opponent. Have confidence and take the shot when you have the chance. You do miss 100% of the shots you don't take! :)
ReplyDeleteWe need to work on not bunching and finding our own space. We will do better if we hold our positions. I need to work on not bunching because I tend to bunch a lot.
ReplyDeleteI wasn't there that day but from what I've heard you guys really needed to spread out try harder next time go RAMS!!
