RAMS Embracing elements of SAQ Training (Speed, Agility, Quickness)

What is SAQ Training?

SAQ workouts consist of short, intense drills that require you to accelerate or decelerate quickly, while moving backward, forward or side-to-side.  SAQ improves balance, power and neuromuscular firing patterns so that your movements become fast, dynamic and precise.  You’ll notice improvements in your response time and your ability to change direction lightning fast. The RAMS have been working hard to develop footwork and movement patterns on the field to enhance our ability to 'move to the ball' and 'change direction' quickly. This has been assisted in the team's excellent displays of keeping possession through quick and reactive passing. We appreciate that soccer is not just kicking a ball - that it takes specific training of the mind and body to help us achieve our potential through tactics and physicality! Hard work and dedication keeps us driven! Just take a look!
